Description

The Palm Beach Junior College north campus at 3160 PGA Boulevard was dedicated on June 4, 1982. The college was built on land purchased from John D. MacArthur and opened as a full time facility, offering associate degrees in arts and sciences and other certificate programs. The name was changed in 1988 to Palm Beach Community College, and in 2010, it was renamed Palm Beach State College. North campus was also referred to as the Eissey Campus after 1990, honoring the 46 year career of Edward M. Eissey in Palm Beach County and specifically the city of Palm Beach Gardens.
