Description
The SWAT team was formed in 1993 to assist with executing high-risk search warrants, high-risk arrest warrants of dangerous subjects, barricaded suspects, building searches for suspects, hostage situations, or any incident in which there is an elevated danger to the public. Members are highly trained and qualified in the use of special weapons and tactics to fulfill their missions. Two tactical medics are assigned to the team to provide medical support during tactical situations.
